Rupal loves cities.  She’s worked in some great ones, including Chicago, New York, Auckland, and Sydney before her recent move to San Francisco.  The first half of her career was in big advertising agency land, where she had her first exposure to digital innovation. She made a sharp turn from ‘feeding the machine’ into exploring the power of people first as the founder of Andable, an ecommerce-marketplace for ‘products made better’ with a social mission tied to micro lending.  She then was the General Manager of Hub Australia, a network of coworking spaces, as she gained interest in the sharing economy. She is currently at City Innovate, a non profit that helps cities navigate and solve complex problems through cross-sector collaboration. She also runs a solo consultancy where she does project-based work primarily for socially-driven startups.
